Logan Circle, also known as Logan Square, began as the Northwest Square, just North of Rittenhouse Square, and just South of the Art Museum neighborhood.  Once a place for locals to let their animals graze, the Square has undergone a miraculous transformation. It is situated within the beautiful Benjamin Franklin Parkway, crowned in its center by the spectacular Swann Memorial Fountain.  This area is the cultural powerhouse of the city, home to many world-class museums, including Philadelphia Art Museum, the Rodin Museum, the Franklin Institute, the Museum of Natural HIstory, as well as Philadelphia's Financial District.  The houses vary from old-world styled town homes, to modern architectural masterpieces.   Logan Circle residents can enjoy the conveniences of Center City while only a bike ride away from beautiful Fairmount Park.
